At Dencorp Ltd, we are committed to creating long-term social value through initiatives that promote wellbeing, opportunity and inclusion. Our work in the community reflects our belief that sustainable business growth is achieved not only through commercial success but also through meaningful engagement with the people and places we serve.
A key example of this commitment is the Luton Grappling Club (LGC) — a non-profit community interest company founded with Dencorp’s support to make martial arts accessible to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Since its establishment in 2017, LGC has embodied the principles of discipline, excellence and compassion, providing a structured and inclusive environment for physical fitness, mental wellbeing and personal development.
Through professionally managed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) programmes for children, young people and adults, LGC has become a recognised centre of sporting excellence. In 2024 alone, its members achieved 33 gold medals at major international competitions, including the IBJJF and AJP circuits. The club continues to represent the town on the global stage, with competitors participating in elite tournaments across Europe and the Middle East.
LGC’s impact extends beyond sporting success. In partnership with Luton Sixth Form College, Sport England and Denbigh High School, the club has delivered free and subsidised training programmes for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. These initiatives have led to measurable improvements in confidence, attendance and academic outcomes, while promoting social inclusion and community cohesion.

Social Impact
In 2024, Dencorp completed the redevelopment of Stuart Place Studios, creating a modern facility that now serves as the home of both the Luton Grappling Club and the Luton Medical and Dental Clinic. The two-storey complex features advanced training areas, a fitness studio, and wellbeing amenities such as oxygen therapy and sauna facilities. This investment has not only supported local regeneration but also established a unique, integrated hub for health, sport and personal development in the heart of Luton.
